Delete your Parisar account

You can delete your account yourself, in the app, in under a minute. No approval from the society is needed.

In the app

• Open Parisar and go to Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Read what will be removed, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out on every device.

What is deleted

• Your name, phone number, email address and profile photo are removed from your login, and the login is closed.
• The blood group, medical notes and emergency contact you added, and your photo, are removed from your membership records.
• Your membership of every unit is archived, so you no longer appear as an occupant or in the member list.
• Every signed-in session is ended and notifications to your phones stop.

What your society keeps, and why

• Bills, receipts, ledger entries, meeting records and register entries — including your name, unit, shares and nominations as a member — are the society's statutory records under co-operative law. They remain with the society; they are no longer linked to a working login.
• Complaints, posts, vehicles and household records you created stay with the society's records. Ask your society's office if you want them removed.
• Visitor entries at the gate are kept for the retention period the society has set, then permanently deleted by an automated job.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@parisar.co.in from the email address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request against that address and delete the account. You can also ask your society's committee, who can remove your membership from the portal; the account is then closed on our side.
